Our Story
We technically have known each other throughout our whole lives through our grandparents; however, we never officially introduced ourselves to one another until the end of our high school years. When we would hang out with our friends, we would only have eyes for one another, and we instantly grew closer to one another. We then shared our phone numbers and got to talking more often. By that, I mean almost every second of every day! Finally, about two months later, Emily's sixteenth birthday rolled around, and Toby didn't want to take her from her family on her special day, so he took her on a date the day after when he asked her to be his girlfriend. Through that time five years ago, we have experienced so much good and bad. We have seen each other at our lowest and have been there for one another throughout that entire time.
Emily has always been a big family person; she put no one before her family. So, Toby decided the best time to pop the big question was on the day of family pictures, when all her closest family were there, and her only requirement was that he get her Dad's permission before he asked the question. So, he did just that and proposed to Emily on October 7th, 2024, and just like that, we started to plan our future as Mr. and Mrs. Turner!
